eXalt V2
Introducing our upgraded eXalt range; exclusive to Repaireum.
Made in dark brown Urea-formaldehyde resin, a modern material with the look and feel of Bakelite but providing the benefits of modern manufacturing.
eXalt V2 has a rounded sides and corners profile.
Quick fact:
In 1919, Hanns John (1891–1942) of Prague, Czechoslovakia, obtained the first patent for UF resin.
Thermosetting Urea Formaldehyde resin, unlike Phenol Formaldehyde (Bakelite), is not limited in colour range and can be produced in white and translucent shades.
Being somewhat more expensive than the phenolic moulding compounds urea formaldehyde tended to be used only where colour was important.
