Take a rusty old vintage lamp made in the 1940’s, sand blast the rust and gently re-enamel without harming the aged look of the lamp.
Remove and convert the pipework to accommodate a B22 lampholder and all the wiring.
Thread the flex through the adapted pipework, concealing it until it protrudes from the top.
Add a hook and some chain and you have a very distinctive hanging lamp.

Most conversions take the easy route for the wiring but your left with a table lamp, we have converted this specifically to hang from the ceiling or a beam.
Potentially we have another three of these to be repurposed in this fashion making them ideal for themed restaurants, pubs or clubs.
Replacement glass has been sourced from the original manufacture in the United States and will be supplied with the lamp.

This original ‘multifuel’ lamp was made by Coleman Lamp & Stove Co. “The Sunshine of the Night“ Model 252 in March 1942.
Later models 252/A was used during WWII due to its robustness and ability to run on petrol (gasoline).

This is a destructive renovation; the conversion process was done to preserve its aged appearance; compromises have been made to ensure its fully compliant to wiring regulations and it is fully PAT tested.
At least one meter of 6Amp cloth braided flex protrudes from the top allowing wiring to a conventional ceiling rose.
